Aunt Carol's Visit

Here's Aunt Carol and I playing together!!!! We've played piano together since I was a litte girl. It meant so much to us to get time on those keys!! Aunt Carol...you are a musical inspiration to me, always.

Theo insists on a certain piece of sheet music:)

Theo led Aunt Carol into the kitchen where we surprised her with a birthday cake and song. She and Theo made birthday wishes and blew out the candles!

Later that day...Boys on the Floor:)

Phoenix is learning about his nose! Thanks, Theo.

Thank You, Aunt Carol, for coming over to our home. We love you soooooooooooo much!!! Have a safe trip back to Florida!!

Theo feeling better

Noni brought over a super awesome Balloon for Theo. His face just lit up when he saw Noni and the Balloon. Theo wouldn't let go of it all morning:) Thanks, Noni!!!!

What a week...

Little Theo had some unpleasant side effects to a medicine he was prescribed. We've racked up 4 emergency room visits this week. Right now, he is sitting with dadddy, eating his breakfast, watching "George." At the emergency room last night (hopefully our final visit) he was extraordinarily pleasant and was singing the "ABC Song" with gusto:) I'm so happy he is doing well and finally got a good nights sleep!!! Nena was here yesterday and Noni is coming over later this morning. Ma and Pa have to clock in some work hours this saturday morning. Yes, what a week!!! Health is so precious. It's made me feel so thankful for my family and for our healthy bodies and minds. Sending you abundant health!

Phoenix is Not a Plant, Theo

We planted our strawberry plant this morning:)

I turned around and look what Theo did!!!

What's he doing with that shovel full of dirt???

No, don't do it, Theo....Phoenix is not a plant. Theo really really really wants to put more dirt on his brother. ha!

This is Phoenix after I removed his jacket and cleaned him up. He doesn't seem to have minded:)

Yes, Theo is taking a bow

pushing the car up the hill....

he attempts to drive himself up the hill this time. Theo enjoyed getting in his car and going "to work" and, of course, bringing his basketball. Fun in the garden today!

A Star is Born

I took the kids to a park this morning and we found an outside stage to play upon! We demonstrated Theo's dramatic interpretations for daddy tonight. Notice how he chooses to wear a belt around his neck, and a hat... he's taking a bow here!

He is using a scrub brush for his "trumpet" "saxophone" or "tuba." He announces which instrument prior to his performance. Today, at the park, he'd use different sized sticks to represent the chosen instrument. It was so funny!!!! and awesome!!!!!!!

he is announcing he will be playing "the Trumpet!"

Daddy got in the game

Theo wanted mommy to play and march! that's my boy!

This is what Phoenix was doing:)

He wanted to know when he can audition.
