i just kept thinking of that day, one year ago, the beautiful day we birthed sweet Phoenix! it was such a sacred and moving night. i remember when the midwife and nurse left Matt and I alone for the night with our new baby. The candle was lit and my soft yoga birthing music still played as we rested all together. Matt held little Phoenix and the two of them fell asleep together on the chair. i just watched them. i felt so peaceful. so blessed. and of course, the joy of being there when Theo and Phoenix met for the first time! i am so thankful for this first year together. Our hearts keep getting bigger!!!!! XOXO
